Our Vision for Change

My vision for our county is to build a stronger, more sustainable future that preserves our rural values while creating real opportunities for our residents. Rural communities thrive when we invest in our people, support local businesses, and plan wisely for growth.

One of our greatest challenges is keeping our young people here after they graduate. Too many leave because they cannot find good jobs or opportunities locally. By strengthening our economy and modernizing our infrastructure, we can create an environment where young professionals, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs want to build their future right here at home.

Economic growth must begin with supporting the businesses we already have while also welcoming responsible new development. We should work to attract industries that provide stable jobs, partner with local schools and technical colleges to develop workforce training, and encourage entrepreneurship so our residents can start and grow businesses locally.

Infrastructure plays a critical role in that future. Maintaining quality roads, reliable utilities, and access to modern technology such as high-speed internet is essential for businesses to operate and expand. Strategic infrastructure improvements will help our county compete for new investment while improving the daily lives of our residents.

At the same time, we must protect the character of our community and the values that make rural life special. Responsible growth means balancing economic development with the preservation of our farmland, natural resources, and strong sense of community.

Together, we can create a county that offers opportunity, stability, and pride for the next generation. By investing in business growth, improving infrastructure, and supporting our workforce, we can ensure our young people have a reason to stay, work, and raise their families right here at home.

OUR CORE VALUES

Farmers

Lynn aims to create policies that protect farmers and ensure sustainable practices that benefit both the community and the economy. Lynn is against solar panels on farmland.  Food is a national security and we will protect our farms and farmers at all cost. I will work with the local farmers to insure sustainability while working with the community leaders to help us invite companies that can help us improved our agricultural footprint for Dodge County.

Supporting Agriculture

Education

Empowering Future Generations

I have had 3 children in the Dodge County School Systems.  I would like to see the literacy rate of the school system improve.  I would also like to see our children thrive in academic and sports while developing confidence and life skills that they will carry long past the years here in school.

I also have a daughter who is an educator so I understand the issues that they face including discipline, beaurocracy and the ever increasing burden on their own personal finances while doing their job.

Veterans

Lynn is a proud USAF veteran who a member in her local American Legion Post.  She uses her VA benefits for health care. She understands that the Veterans of Dodge County need to know what benefits they have and will help to work toward educating Vets and assisting them in the right direction for their needs.
